When you first add a 2-Factor Authentication to your BitMEX account you will be given a code that you should write down. In a scenario where you no longer have access to your original 2FA device, you will be able to restore it using this code.

Note: if you did not write down this code and you no longer have access to your 2FA device, you will need to contact support@bitmex.com to begin the 2FA disabling process.

Here you will see a 16-digit code above the QR code which you should write down somewhere safe where only you have access (ideally in an offline location).
